Blessed are the poor in spirit.....

When our layman minds focus in on the word "poor"; we think as a society say the word means...'substandard, worse than usual, of lower or inferior quality.' We think,' lack of sufficient standard to live comfortably; impoverished.' With our worldly mind, I wonder why would those of an impoverished spirit would be granted the Kingdom of Heaven. Are they rewarded for their lack? We know those who are rich in spirit are active in the Kingdom of Heaven.

The humbling truth about those who are "poor in spirit", they recognize their own spiritual poverty and desire and seek out the way of Yahweh. They search to better their knowledge and develop a relationship worthy of Yahweh. They move from the milk of his Word to more meatier knowledge. They seek after righteousness with a laser focus as disciples of The Most High. Where can one learn and grow more than in the Kingdom of Heaven; in the presence of"Immanuel".

The poor in spirit is blessed because of their desire for more; they are purposed for perfection in Yahweh, so they are blessed.
